Curiously no zoomed out photos showing how well those wheels look with the rest of the sedan but I think I’ve got a hunch about why. Jesus.

You know, I don’t even see any wheel studs in that picture. Maybe he broke off the studs and that’s why there’s no pictures?

The Germans love to use thise horrible lug bolts instead of using lug nuts like normal people.

Ugh, that’s awful. I never even knew that was a thing.
I guess that’s another reason never to own an MB.

I have them on my Mini and it's a massive pain in the ass to get the wheel located properly.

And, as my dad found out the hard way (by destroying some brake parts on mom’s W210 ), if you use the spare tire there is a different, shorter set of bolts to use with the spare. FFS MB - what a half-assed PITA that nobody will pay a attention to until it's too late.
My Vanagon was a weird one - lug nuts on one axle, bolts on the other. At least the head was the same size and didn’t require different wrenches ...

Because I would totally expect to also use different studs when changing to the spare tire. Wtf Mercedes?!

Did the guy tried to take the 0 off the S550 to pretend it’s an AMG and then stuck it back on?
